With my shed R.E. array being unmonitored for most of the time I've decided to have a go at making my own pic based charge controller/logger. I'll be basing the project on the new 16f886 chip which is a 28 pin chip and the new version to the older 16f876a.
I intend to make this project open source so anyone can make it for themselves and/or improve the design. But in the free spirit of open source I ask that anyone trying to profit this project will get a bit more than bad karma for their troubles. Now that that part out of the way time to concentrate on the design.
Intended Parts List
As the project moves on I'll be putting in a schematic and source code as each module is finished. The idea od using what I call modules is just reloacatable code in Mplab so the routinescan be used in other projects.
